20 kW 3-phase String Inverter
A grid-tied inverter with an integrated limiter to prevent overflows into the public grid. The inverter, thanks to its integrated MPPT regulator, converts the maximum amount of energy generated by photovoltaic panels into 3x AC 230/400 V.
A grid-tied inverter with a limiter is an affordable solution for photovoltaic power plants that do not require batteries. In addition, it can limit its own output according to the current consumption, thus completely preventing overflows into the public grid.
In addition to the classic terminals for connecting solar panels and an output for connection to the grid, the inverter also has the option of connecting an SDM630MCT modbus electricity meter, which can limit output power in the event of a longer distance between the home distribution board and the inverter.
The inverter operates within the input voltage range according to the specific model (info in the datasheet - documents below). The output from the inverter is then 3x AC 230/400 V voltage, which is connected between the main fuse with an electricity meter and the fuses of individual circuits. The inverter therefore converts the power from the panels into domestic circuits. Your appliances will then consume energy primarily produced by your power plant. If the output of your power plant is not sufficient at any given moment, the connected public grid will cover the shortfall. By installing an optional electricity meter, you can protect your system from unwanted overflows in the event that your power plant is capable of producing more energy than your appliances require.
The inverter does not operate in island mode, meaning that it requires a connection from the public distribution grid to function. Once there is a power outage, the inverter immediately shuts down.
The inverters are certified for sale and use in the EU. They meet the criteria for EMC, LVD, and RoHS certifications. The inverters meet the EN50549-1 standard for connection to the distribution grid or for obtaining subsidies.
