The Teltonika TRM282 industrial global 4G modem with a Telit LTE Cat 4 module provides reliable mobile connectivity for industrial and IoT applications worldwide.
The TRM282 is equipped with USB-C and RS-232 interfaces, enabling easy integration of both modern devices and legacy serial equipment without the need to rework existing infrastructure. The integrated GNSS receiver and digital input/output (DI/DO) extend deployment possibilities beyond basic data communication.
A robust aluminum enclosure with IP30 protection and an operating temperature range of –40 to +65 °C make the modem suitable for demanding industrial environments. Two external antennas with SMA connectors ensure stable signal reception even in challenging conditions.
Software Support and Drivers
The Windows Connection Manager application is used to manage the modem in Windows environments, while Modem Manager is used in Linux. The USB serial driver is available for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux ≥5.8, and Android 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. The GNSS driver supports Android 11, 13, and 14, and the RIL driver supports Android 11–15. ECM and QMI_WWAN network drivers are available for Linux ≥5.8.
Mounting and Power Options
The modem can be mounted on a DIN rail, wall, or flat surface – all variants require a separate mounting kit. Power can be supplied from two sources: an industrial 4-pin DC connector (9–30 V DC) or via the USB-C port (5 V / 3 A). Idle power consumption is less than 0.4 W, and maximum power consumption does not exceed 4 W.
